What a location! Right in the heart of town, everything you need is just a short stroll away. The staff was super friendly and cute, which added a nice touch to our stay. I also loved the clean and cozy vibe throughout the hotel, making it feel quite festive during the Christmas season!
The food didn’t live up to the hype. Breakfast was decent but not nice, and the dinner options felt very limited and repetitive. Plus, our room was a bit tired-looking and didn’t match the lovely photos online. It was a bit disappointing, especially considering the price we paid!

Great choice for weekend. Brilliant hotel with polite staff for a terrific stay. Unbeatable and brilliant location - very close to Skiddaw restaurant on Keswick High Street, Keswick in the future, and a local market. Nearby The George - great place to chill out.

Dog Owners Beware, Tolerated, Not Welcomed
The staff tried to accommodate and the meals were quite good, my favorite was the lovely roasted chicken on Christmas Day. I appreciated the spotlessly clean room, even if it was smaller than expected.
It certainly wasn't inexpensive, but I guess that's what you pay for in this case.

review: The Skiddaw Hotel boasts a fantastic central location, making it easy to explore Keswick. Rooms are clean and cozy, though some may find them on the smaller side. Staff were cheerful and attentive, and breakfast was freshly prepared with a variety of options to choose from. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky during busy periods. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-04-15}
